On the way to Michigan for the International Doll Makers Association Convention.

Since I last posted, I have been to and returned from the International Doll Makers Convention in Dearborn, Michigan. Three friends and fellow doll makers went with me and we had a grand time.

Here we are on the way to Michigan. This is at a Culver's in Michigan City, Indiana where we stayed overnight. We spent two days driving and visited as many quilt shops as we could that were not to far off the interstates.

Pictured are Judy, Linda, Connie, and Carolyn.

We arrived in Dearborn on July 12th. The next day we went to Guildcrafters Quilt Shop which is a suburb of Detroit. Thanks to Mapquest we drive there easily. We all got some fabric and I will be making coasters from some that I found. My feature fabric has Santa in a Model T. Can't wait to get started.

On Monday IDMA sponsored a tour to Greenfield Village. We spent way to long at our lunch location and so we didn't see as much as we would have liked. But we did enjoy the carousel ride and later the drive around in the Model T.

That's all for now. Will post more about the convention later.

Judy
